Portugual is well served by a number of competing bus operators which provide a dense network of bus and coach routes, particularly between major cities and along tourist regions such as the Algarve.

Inter Centro, Inter Norte and Inter Sul – the Portuguese Eurolines franchise holder serves international routes from Porto and Lisbon to destinations in Spain, France and the UK.
EVA – serves the Algarve region with frequent services between Faro and Lagos and international routes into Spain.
International coach services
Eurolines coach services connect Lisbon, Porto and resort cities in the Algarve with destinations in Spain and France. The Eurolines Pass does not cover international travel to Portugal.
Local bus and coach companies EVA, Inter Centro, Inter Norte and Inter Sul also operate international coach services as well the Spanish coach operator Alsa.
Flibco run coach services linking Portugal with Luxembourg with stops en route in France. Flibco buses stop in Braga, Coimbra, Lisbon and Porto and stops in France include Bordeaux, Tours, Paris and Reims.
