Domestic bus services in Denmark are rarely used by travellers as the train is generally a much more convenient travel option. However international bus services can save you a bit of money when travelling further afield.
International bus and coach travel to and from Denmark
There are several international coach services that connect Denmark with neighbouring countries including frequent services to Germany and Sweden. Most international coach routes from Denmark are operated by Eurolines and Flixbus.
Eurolines coaches operate on the following routes:
- Aarhus to Berlin
- Copenhagen to Angers, Antwerp, Berlin, Bonn, Bordeaux, Bremen, Brunswick, Cologne, Dortmund, Dresden, Duisburg, Düsseldorf, Erfurt, Essen, Frankfurt, Giessen, Göttingen, Hamburg, Hanover, Inglostadt, Jena, Kassel, Leipzig, Leverkusen, Munich, Munster, Nantes, Nuremberg, Oldenburg, Paris, Poitiers, Rennes, Rostock and Rouen
Copenhagen is the only place in Denmark accessible by the Eurolines Pass.
